New Directives as COVID -19 Worsens
Dear Members of Parish, Bishop Gregory J. Bittman has asked us to close the Church for two weeks to comply with the Government Orders. So our Church will be closed for two weeks.
1. We will have Holy Mass Offered on line through Zoom at our regular time: Monday to Friday at 9am. Please watch it in https://us02web.zoom.us/j/6358306241? pwd=NkM1amlCem1VaCszVDMvazVna3ExZz09 Holy Communion in the parking lot at 9.45.
2. Saturday Mass at 5pm will be Live Stream through Vimeo https://vimeo.com/event/497836 Holy Communion in the parking lot after mass.
3. Sunday Mass at 10am will be a parking lot mass, come in your cars and tune your car stereo to 89.5FM.
3. Procedure for parking lot Holy Communion, I will be in our parking lot to distribute Holy Communion till the last person arrives. If you come late, please ring the bell, and I will be there for you. Please come in your cars, roll down your window, receive Holy Communion in your hand, remove your mask, consume the Eucharist and leave for the next one.
4. There will be Prayer of Rosary From Monday to Friday at 8.30 in Zoom through the same link.
5. In case of an emergency, or if you need my assistance, please call my phone and I will attend to you as early as possible.
6. For Confession, I will be available after any Mass upon request on the spot. If later, I will be available by appointment. Call the Church phone and you will get my number.
7. If we are able to bring down the numbers of covid cases successful, then we will soon be able to Open the Church for regular Holy Mass.

All of us are eagerly waiting for the reopening of our church. We were away from our regular Church Activities for two months. Our Bishop Gregory Bittman has asked all, to open Churches for regular church activities with certain limitations and conditions. We will Begin our Holy Mass on Saturday June 6, 2020, at 5 pm and thereafter will continue the normal work.
Limitations and conditions for any service in the Church: (a)We can have a gathering of 50 people, maximum, seated at 6 feet distance. Members of the same family can sit together. (b) Christ the King Parish representatives decided to offer the Services to any one who comes first will be preferred at all Masses. © Our present Mass time is Saturday at 5 pm, and Sunday at 9 am to begin with. (d) As soon as we have more than 98 members for two Masses we will have the third Mass at 11. 30 am. (e)Attendance of the participants with their names and phone numbers are mandatory for every Mass and other activities. The record should be renewed each time and should be kept for thirty days. In case of an outbreak, it must be produced on demand for the Government. In the future, we can think of the possibility of registering, for each Mass. (f) Our Mass will be in the hall, and it will open just 10 to 15 minutes before Mass.
Our Lady of Lourdes, OK Falls and St. Gregory’s Church, of the 1st Nation have decided to attend Mass at CTK Oliver, until everything gets normal.
In case there is need of a fourth Mass, the proposed time will be at 2 pm.
The Dispensation from the obligation of Sunday Mass remains in place. In case you tried to come for Mass and could not reach in Church for lack of space or for any serious reason, your right of Dispensation from Sunday Mass remains in place.
We will have regularly with the maximum number of 50 including the priest. All these regulations and conditions are applicable for marriages, or funerals or any other services in the Church.
We will continue to live stream the Holy Mass, for those who are unable to attend the Mass until everything gets better. The altar and lectern will be streamed. We do it through Facebook: CTK Oliver, Bc ( Church group). It is through the application of Vimeo. Just click the play button of the day and you will be able to participate in Mass, live. The information is updated regularly, please check website, CTK Oliver BC On Facebook, and bulletin. This might last for a while, none of us can predict.
Anyone interested to spend time before the Blessed Sacrament in the Church are welcome. They need to come to Church during office hours or by request. They need to use the allotted space and disinfect the place before they leave. In emergency call my rectory phone. My telephone number is available in the parish office, or parish phone.
Until everything returns to normal, we need all the Church keys back for better protection of the members of the parish. The keys will be allotted to any one for their special need and specific period of any service which might need an access beyond the office time.
